Qi Treatment FAQ

  • What will happen when I come for my Qi Treatment ?

After slipping off your shoes before entering the reception area, you can enjoy a warm cup of herbal tea as you fill in your health questionnaire. At the start of your session, the practitioner will speak to you more directly about any health concerns you have and what you hope to get out of the session. You will be given a brief explanation of Qi Energy and Qi Treatment and the chance to ask any questions you might have. Following the Qi Treatment, there will be the opportunity to find out more about your own energy system and the affect it could be having on your everyday life.
  • How does Qi Treatment work?

You will lie, fully clothed, on your back and The Qi Master will check your energy circulation by resting their hands on your abdomen area.  During the treatment, the Qi Master will stimulate specific pressure points all over your body, this will open energy channels throughout your body. They will also use a martial arts breathing technique which uses sound vibration to carry Qi Energy into your body. You will then turn over whilst they stimulate points on your back, shoulders, arms and legs.  Finally you will sit up whilst the master loosens the tension in your shoulders and neck.  The whole process takes around 15 minutes and the results are normally felt instantly.
  • What should I expect to feel after receiving Qi Treatment?

People often say they feel lighter, calmer and less stressed, as well as feeling brighter and more energised. Many people enjoy a particularly good nights sleep, that night, too.
  • I take medication or am undergoing another therapy. Can I still have a Qi Treatment?

Yes. There is no evidence to suggest that Qi Treatment interferes with any medication or other treatments. Always consult your medical practitioner if you have any concerns.
  • My body is very sensitive to touch. Is Qi Treatment suitable for me?

The amount of pressure used during your Qi Treatment can be adapted to your individual needs. We treat elderly people or those who are frail with very light pressure and they still experience results.
  • How much does a Qi Treatment cost ?

The price varies depending on the practitioner that you see. In London, Qi Treatment with a Qi Master costs £40 or with a senior Qi Master £60. Discounts are availble for concessions or if you buy a course of treatments.
