THE NEW FITNESS CRAZE…QILATES!
 
First there was yoga, then Pilates came along, then yogalates…now the newest, hottest fitness class is Qilates! 

Combining energy-boosting (Qi) techniques with yoga and Pilates style movements these classes at Innersound centres help to tone, boost energy and de-stress. There is also meditation combined into the hour-long classes to give you precious me-time.

Originating from South Korea, the classes promote wellbeing, harmony and calm through receiving energy and are based on the Eastern philosophy that mind, body and spirit are connected. There's a variety of slow movements and breathing exercises which circulate energy to different parts of your body. As you progress through the classes, you progress through the different movements, so that by the time you complete the program you will have worked on your entire energy system.

Posture, muscle tone and energy are all improved. This class takes the next step from Pilates and yoga to incorporate essential energy-building to boost the mind and body. Men and women both benefit from the improvements found from doing Qilates classes.

The class timetable is flexible, with over 30 classes each week, and you do not have to attend the same class each week. With centres throughout the UK, Innersound are finding their Qilates classes increasingly popular throughout the country.
